Visiting a professional masseuse on a regular basis can be costly and inconvenient. That's why many people are buying their own massage chairs for use in the comfort of their homes. Designed by experts in orthopedic (bone and muscle), the chairs are comfortable and therapeutic. You can also get other health products at home such as pillows, foot baths, handheld devices, and shower heads, all of which provide relief from pain and promote healing.

In this article, however, concentrate on the massage chair. The first president was offered to consumers by the end of 1980. The intention was to imitate the techniques and movements of a real masseuse to relieve back pain, tension and stress. The concept was slow at first, but in the 1990s when technology began to advance rapidly, more agile version is produced significantly increased consumer interest.

Today, the most popular and effective presidents are those that mimic the techniques of Swedish massage and Shiatsu. Shiatsu movements are spinning, rolling, tapping, sweeping, and pressing. Shiatsu is characterized by the fact that alleviates stress on specific body areas. Swedish massage is different because the movements are part of kneading and long, gliding strokes. The purpose of this is to improve circulation.

A typical chair is designed with three main components that reproduce the above techniques. The first is a motor mechanic. That the powers and movements of the rollers and nodes in the selected areas. A chair also has settings to reduce or increase the strength of the movement.

The second feature allows you to set programs and manipulate the patterns back or just some parts. All rollers and nodes as well as the engine, operate with a control panel. Employers offer different types of manipulation. For example, you can set a pattern to focus on the neck and low back region with the kneading, rolling, or tapping movements.

The rollers and nodes, which vary in size and shape according to the type of chair, are designed to work as hands and fingers. Large manipulations provide more general. By contrast, a chair that has small rollers and lymph manipulations gives specific and detailed goals. So as you can set the stringency of the motor, the nodes can adjust the rollers according to their preferences.

Adjustment is made possible by an onboard computer which is probably the most important component. Almost all models of chair is designed to make automatic adjustments for weight, width and height. The computer calculates the pressure in the back seat and the level of the protrusion of the rollers and nodes are set accordingly. These settings can be refined using the control panel if necessary.

Massage chairs are covered in various types of tissues. Some are made of polished wood and leather or synthetic leather and plastic, while others are a combination of materials. However, the appearance is not as important as functionality. If you want the massage is vigorous, choose a chair with strong movements and components for high sticking. For specific goal or less intense massage, and not choose a small chair components.
