Blue screen with white text, no response when you press any buttons, automatically shut down and restart with that blue screen again…. Horrible, isn’t it? And it might be a more horrible nightmare if this continues to appear over and over again!

Can anybody tell me how to fix blue screen of death?!

Take it easy. If you really want to fix blue screen, you need first figure out what is the real cause of it and then you can take measures to deal with it.

The common causes of blue screen of death:

1.Overheating
2.Faulty hardware or software
3.Viruses or spyware
4.Registry errors
5.RAM problem
How to fix blue screen of death caused by specific problem?
The overheating issue would be solved easily by a simple restart. Your computer displays the blue screen just to warn you that it need some rest. Therefore let it rest for a while, and then restart it. It will function well if overheating is really the problem.

Have you recently installed any new hardware or software? Sometimes improper installation would lead to blue screen. Try to uninstall this new hardware or software, and see if the problem comes again. If not, reinstall your hardware or software, or, if necessary (your computer just incompatible with this hardware or software), give up this hardware or software anyway.

Viruses or spyware would certainly one of the main causes for all computer problems. Turn on your anti-virus or anti-spyware software and scan your computer. If find any, clear them right away. One more thing, keep your anti-virus or anti-spyware software running when you are surfing the internet, and safe surfing would be the most secure way to avoid viruses and spyware.

As to registry errors, if the blue screen persists on your computer, it must be the chief culprit. In this case, you need registry cleaner to help you clear all the invalid or corrupted registry entries and fix all registry errors.

RAM problem would be solved by replacing. Test your current RAM stick by changing it with another one and see if the computer would work well. If it can, replace your RAM.
