SEO is one of the deciding factor now a days for any website to decide it's success as well a failure. SEO is a combined term for on page optimization and off page optimization . In on page optimization coders creates a website which can be easily crawled by search engines and can crawlers can easily identify the contents of the websites. If a website is optimized properly then search engines indexes them on their search engine result pages (SERP) on respective keywords which further provide the targeted visitors to that website , on the other hand if the website in not optimized properly then it will not rank higher in SERP.

Target of SEO is to get higher rank in SERP for targeted keywords. Though the target is same but methods used are different for example :- Black, Grey & White Hat Seo . We will try to go through each one of them and will discuss various techniques used in each method and their effects.

Black Hat Seo

This kind of SEO is done using unfair methods. There can be various techniques which can be used in this Black method, these are

1) Using invisible text in Web Pages.
2) Using doorway pages with redirects.
3) Using cloaking

By using these techniques website can rank higher in SERP for targeted keywords but these results are not for long term because when search engine will identify these tricks then it might put that website in black list and once it will ban that website then search engines will not index that website in future.

Grey Hat Seo

This are the seo techniques in which SEO is done without taking the site features in consideration. Techniques which are classified in this method , these are

1) Using doorway page without redirection
2) Chaotic Link Exchange

By using these techniques websites are least benefited and these techniques give the minimum and unstable result.

White Hat Seo

These are the seo techniques in which seo is done according to the site's structure. In this website is made convenient for visitors and easily index-able by search engines. Techniques which are classified in this method , these are

1) Correcting Errors in on page optimization
2) Adding new useful content on the site for visitors.
3) Getting back links from the website of similar themes.

By using these techniques websites get stable rank in search engine result pages.

Black Hat Seo and Grey hat Seo are aimed only to increase websites rank in SERP. So, the site moved up using such methods will get higher rank in SERP but that ranking of no use because their quality of content in web page will not meet the expectations of visitors and there will always be a risk for these website for getting banned by search engines. However in white hat seo techniques are primarily aimed on targeted visitors. White hat seo will not only increase the site sites ranking in search engines , it will also increase the targeted visitors on websites several dozen times as compared to other methods.
