The large 3.2 inch display of the new nokia 5230 has a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels with a wide aspect ratio of 16:9 and can support up to 16.7 million colours which is basically a full touch screen display. it comes with a few dedicated keys, which makes the operation of some of the various features of the mobile phone very simple. There is a special home screen music plug-in which provides dedicated commands for the music player like pause/play, forward, and back.

The nokia XpressMusic comes with a microSD memory card slot with hot swap capability that has a max capacity to use a card of 16 GB and comes with a dynamic internal memory of about 70 MB. The power to this phone has been provided by a 1320 mAh Li-Ion battery that can provide a maximum talk time of up to 7 hours. And the standby time of this phone is up to 438 hours. it uses the same operating system as the Nokia N97.

The Nokia 5230 xpress music can operates on 900/2100 bandwidths on GSM and on 850/1900 bandwidths on WCDMA.

The latest c series of mobile phones that have been launched by nokia in India include the new Nokia C7 which has some good features that include a large 3.5-inches touchscreen display with a powerful 8 megapixel camera that also offers a Zoom function and a Dual-LED flash.

Another new addition by nokia mobile phone is going to be the new nokia n8 which will come with a 3.5-inch capacitive Touchscreen HD display with Multi-Touch and Gestures support. It will be the first nokia in India that will come with the Symbian^3 OS and has a 12 Megapixel Camera with a xenon flash that supports HD Ready (720p) Video Recording at a frame rate of 30 FPS. Another upgraded model of this phone that features a full qwerty keypad and the new MEEGO os is being called the nokia N9.
