What exactly are seasonal allergies?Seasonal allergies, known as hay fever, is the body’s reaction to flying particles including plant pollen or mold. There are some distinguishing indications of allergies.Think about the following questions:- Does it seem like your baby is always sniffling and sneezing? Common colds usually wind down in one week or even 2; allergies don’t.-- Does he/she breathe through her mouth?-- Is your toddler continuously wiggling, wiping, or moving his/her nose upwards in what physicians call the allergic salute?- Is the mucous that drains from his/her nasal area clear and thin (rather than yellow-colored or greenish and dense)?- Is your baby’s nose continually stuffy as well as running?- Are her eyes itchy, reddish, and watery?-- Does the skin under her eyes appear dark or purple or blue -- what doctors call allergic shiners?-- Is his/her pores and skin irritated or even broken out in an itchy red-colored rash?If you responded yes to 1 or more of these questions, experts suggest that there’s a good chance your little one is allergic to something in her surroundings. Contact your doctor to go over your concerns and see if your child is definitely suffering from seasonal allergies.
