So how can you know which one will be the better deal?Well, I’d say it boils down to the engine. No one wants to buy a used car withan engine that sucks! So which one will be the better one; the Volvo engine orthe VW engine?   Well let’s look at the details for both of them. Firstlywe have a Volvoengines in a used car which is just the same as saying a used Volvo engine! There are many available used Volvo engines for cars and trucks with lowmileages and great warranty. Additionally, there is also gasoline or dieselengines available! Now let’s look at the Volkswagen. Volkswagens are known fortheir quality performance, compact design and also the benefit of having greatfuel economy.   But have you decided on what type of car in each brandthat you are interested in? Well if not, here are two great vehicles you mightwant to feast your eyes on: the Volvo S40 versus the VW Passat! I know what youare thinking! That is exactly what you were battling in your mind, with your wifeor husband as well as other family members!   To be more specific, we will be looking at a 2008 VolvoS40 versus a 2008 VW Passat. As was noted earlier, the used engine is the mostimportant aspect we will be discussing. This Volvo engine also has a great fueleconomy but not as great as the VW engine. While its fuel economy is 20 milesper gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on highways, the Passat has theupper hand as its fuel economy is 21 miles per gallon while running in the cityand on highways, 29 miles per gallon! But what about the fuel it uses you mightask? That should contribute to a difference. Well both vehicles use petrol astheir source of fuel.   Now that I think I have been able to aid in your decision, you should also take into consideration that this Volvo costs approximately$19,000 while the Passat is $17,000. So again we see that the VW engine ischeaper, more reliable and safe. But there are also downsides to this usedvehicle as well. At times the parts are usually hard to find. But don’t worrywith finding a used VW engine or one for a Volvo because the World Wide Web hasmade it much easier in locating all types of used engines .   About US : Generally speaking, theused VWengine is much smaller than the Volvo’s which proves as a great asset as itcan be stressed more and is cheaper to maintain. But if you have a need forspeed, your choice would have to be the used Volvo engine. But again I state,it is all dependent on what you truly want! Happy shopping!
