Recommendation letter – top 4 tips teach you how to write a good recommendation letter

Those people who are college teachers or business leaders often have to write a recommendation letter for his students or his employees. The recommendation letter is supposed to help decision-makers to get a better picture of your potential. However, some people have no time to write it for you, therefore, you need to write it by yourself. I will introduce the process of writing a good recommendation letter.

Process one

The letter of recommendation should begin with introducing the name of the professor who gives the letter and his/her title, as well as the name of the student who the letter is introducing for the potential professor or boss. The professor need also write the information about his or her students: year, class capabilities or other activities.

Process two

The introduction of the student’s capabilities should take up about next 3-4 paragraphs. It should include the student’s capabilities, interests and knowledge as well as activities and results. What is more, the professor should also introduce the student’s personal characteristics and social skills, as well as his or her relationships with other students and professors.

Process three

The final paragraph should give a comprehensive assessment about the student’s potentials that can fulfill the requirements of applied program, although some judgments can and should be rendered in the body of the letter of recommendation.

Process four

Remember to note down the date, as well as the name of the home university. The program which the student is applying for needs to be written explicitly in the body of the letter. Be ready to give the professor time to read your draft and make some changes.
