Review on Firefox 4 for Android Smartphones – browse like desktop now!

Apple iOS and Google android have been moving towards rapid increase and development of its features since introduction and have reached to new heights as well. However, both the smartphones could not much improvement so far the browser application usage is concerned. The technical specification of OS in spite of developing a lot could not get across computer’s its main counterpart where the competition for different application inclusive of browser is considerably more. This consecutively leads to reduction in competitiveness for browser on smartphone & tablets in comparison to PC.

Apple iOS does not allow use of full blown browsers as they seem to have got lot from its app store based for use with its specific engines, viz. atomic web browser for safari engine, opera mini for opera servers etc.

On the other hand is the android OS having inbuilt browser and lately improved version of opera mini and opera mobile has also been introduced. Mozilla has now introduced Firefox 4 for android, which is the most advanced and featured browser till date.

• Mobilized Firefox version for address bar typing, searching history, google, Amazon and others
• Add-ons that support and add new functions

However, the browser may fall short of in certain context as for example it does not support flash. Editing google docs may not be possible using it and some of the sites meant for working on webkit-based browsers may also raise issue.
