As we all probably know, anger is natural emotion and unfortunately not a good one. Most people tend to have problems with it. It's not hard to have anger problems especially if you are impulsive and fast-reacting person. If you have anger problems you are probably unhappy. That is a reason why the anger issues should be treated very carefully.
Overcoming anger is always hard. People that have anger issues know that. Whenever you try to cope with anger, something jumps in. People tend to think, after they fail at resisting their anger attacks, that there is no help for them.
Luckily, they can help themselves. All they have to do is to think about consequences. There are way too many reasons to try to prevent anger attacks, if not for yourself then for your family and friends.
Just ask yourself how many times did you caused serious damage during your last anger attack, or how did you ruin last birthday party because your overreacted.
By being angry, other people around you think that you are selfish because you are destroying and yelling at everyone. But they don't realize that you have problem and that you need their help to overcome it. They don't understand your needs.
First of all, you should not pretend that you can't do anything about it. First step is always the more important and that is confession to yourself that you really need help. Others will help you only if you ask. And they will be glad to help you.
Then you should think before you react. Whenever you see that wave of anger coming, try to calm down, drink a glass of water and sit down. It should help you. Go for a walk or something.
No one is immune to beautiful walk in the park where you can clear your thoughts.
