Some people when come in contact with any other person see his/ her shoes first. This represents “Sense of Beauty”. Man is known by the company he keeps, and his personality is known by the kind of shoes he/she wears. Shoes are an extremely important component of one’s outfit.
Shoes are made and selected for different occasions. There are “dress shoes”, “athlete shoes”, “casual shoes”, “athlete shoes”, some “dancing shoes” for all men and women, while for women heels range from no heel to up to 10 inches heel.
Initially due to less dress sense, shoes were given least attention and whatever was available in the market was bought and wore by all. Now demands create supply, and increasing taste and designs give rise to many different styles. Now many shoe brands are in the market, in direct competition with one another. Clark, Boots, Nike, Adidas are some of the few names.
In old days, prevalent shoes styles were coat shoes, platform heals, and edgy. Shoes didn’t use to have many colors rather only black and blue were liked, made and purchased. People would like wearing sophisticated shoes. Same was the case with celebrities. They would buy sailors, shay and deluxe mostly to wear with jeans.
On the other hand males would go for lace ups, leather collection, and slip ones. On the other hand formal dress shoes have always been in fashion. Celebrities would wear various snickers, moccasin styles.
The fashion keeps revolving with the passage of time. Now block heals, taboo, fun lite, AKI’s are in fashion. The major difference between today’s collection and yesterday’s is the variety of colors available. Now one can find women wearing pinks, reds, blue, green; thus all florescent colors in her feet. Ankle boots, pumps, thigh boots and sandals are among the most famous collection of today’s fashion. High heels, pencil heels up to 6feet are in vogue, now news says one brand has even come up with 10feet high collection and ordinary people even models are reluctant to try those.
Same is the case with men, though not fluorescent colors are wore by all but major celebrities have been seen wearing green and orange colors during movie shoots or award ceremonies (one Bollywood star Abhishek Bachan wore green color sneakers in his film Jhoom Barabar Jhoom). Joggers and snickers have always been men’s first choice in term of comfort and price.
