The beginning of the 20th century has introduced the birth of shopping malls, which conveniently sell all kinds of products and services. Florida is one of the locations in the United States offers numerous goods for different types of shoppers—the fashion-forward, the gadget geeks, the food lovers, and so on. A typical FL mall may be identified by its different components, namely: dining areas, department stores, stand-alone stores, kids’ entertainment areas, among other facilities.
Dining Areas
A shopping mall in Florida is usually composed of so many restaurants and food courts. Restaurants are classified according to cuisines, from Mediterranean, Asian, European, African, Arabian, etc. Shoppers on a tight budget can choose among affordable meals accessible in food courts and quick food chains. Dining areas in shopping malls are intended to serve shoppers without having to go out of the mall.
Department Stores
Another staple in Florida malls is a department store, a spacious area usually situated at the most conspicuous region of the mall. A typical department store houses different brands of shopping items like clothing, accessories, cosmetic goods, toys, house ware, sporting goods, and others. Department stores are intended to make shopping very convenient without having to go to various places to buy items.
Stand-alone Shops
Stand-alone shops offer the convenience of not having to meticulously look for an item in a big department store. These stores offer a private shopping experience because they are situated outside the mall. Unlike department stores, most stand-alone shops offer a single brand of products, and some also serve as factory outlets Florida shoppers regularly visit. Factory outlets are different from normal because they offer much better bargains on excess merchandise.
Children Entertainment Areas
A children entertainment area is ideal for shoppers who tag their kids along. Rather than bringing their kids to a playground prior to or after shopping, they can simply spend time at the entertainment area of the mall. Children entertainment areas are usually equipped with toys that they can share with other children.
Other Facilities
Aside from Florida dining areas and department stores, malls also boast of additional facilities such as parking, baggage and customer service areas. Parking areas can be located either in the basement or in a separate lot annexed to the shopping mall. Baggage locations are intended to serve shoppers who have to secure their shopping bags, while customer service areas are intended for inquiries along with other issues of the shoppers regarding products and services they have purchased.
