We all know about the Photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CorelDraw and so on. Adobe Photoshop is so easier. But sometimes anyone wish to use rest editing software just like Illustrator, InDesign. If you want to use Illustrator on Hard Edges object for getting ‘Clipping Path’ or ‘Create a mask’ with Photoshop transparency, then there is two simple way I wish to share with you all….
I will share my knowledge about this thing step by step. Stay with me…
First way:
1. Open the selected image on Adobe Photoshop.
2. Simply make a ‘Path’ for the image using the available selection tools or Pen Tool.
3. ‘Outline’ the object which you wish to mask. After that everything outside of the ‘Clipping Path’ will be transparent once placed in the Illustrator file.
4. Use the Pop-out menu from the Path Palette which is placed in upper-right. Then select Clipping path from menu.
5. Path name in the palette should be outlined to indicate it is a Clipping Path.
6. Now save the image as TIFF or EPS extension.
7. Then open this image on Illustrator.
Second way:
1. Create a ‘Clipping Path’ in Illustrator.
2. By using Pen Tool, outline the image carefully.
3. Select the path and image
4. Then select ‘Object clipping mask Make’.
5. Save the Image.
