Apple's success is obvious to all. From iPod, iPhone to the latest released iPad, it has caused the industry's attention and makes the fans rave. In the iPad conference, Apple's CEO Steve Jobs is confident with their iPad, and he has even disdain to Amazon's Kindle. What's more, Steve Jobs showing off their minds and speech, the future they will challenge Sony and Samsung IT giants.
Apple is indeed successful, but behind its success it is full of contradictions. Let's take a look at Apple's contradictory philosophy behind its success.
First, perfect is not perfect.
Apple's products are all perfect, but fans often find some of them are obvious imperfections. iPhone released, it was pointed out that the camera pixels is too low, and the battery can not be demolished; iPad released, it was noted that it does not support multi-task, no camera. Maybe it because Apple's products are too perfect, their little defects will make them appears imperfect. However, we also found that many shortcomings were improved in later versions of updates, new product launches and additional software and components released. Maybe iPhone's imperfect is aims to seize the opportunities to launch. And perhaps from a user point of view the functions of these imperfections are not fatal defects, let alone the continuous follow-up services will make the defects improved. So, Apple's products are perfect, more is in the changing and developing.

Second, it offers both free and charge service
Free service is easy to get users, but it is not helpful for the content provider; Charge Service can benefit the content provider, but it is easier to loss the users. However, Apple Inc. can still works well between free and charge. It is not only providing hardware products, but also increases the content, software and games. Like iPhone has music store, software store, iTouch has game store, and iPad will surely involve to stacks soon, and the film libraries also will be launched soon. Apple is widely welcomed by its users is not only for its products success, most importantly, is for its comprehensive content and services. It contains both free and charge content, so that it ensures the interests both of the users and the content providers.
Third, Closed system with open platform
Apple's OS perhaps is the most closed system in the world. All Apple products are built on top of their own standards. From the hardware to operating system are all designed by themselves, including the recently released iPad A4 processor. Apple's closed evident. Perhaps just for this reason, Apple's desktop and notebook has become the high-end crowd's fashion.
Since iPhone has opened the interfaces to the programmers, there are more than 100,000 applications for these 2 years old products. In the content, Apple has music store, bookstores and video store in the future, all these are the platform facing with traditional content providers. Apple closed the hardware system developing, but opens the software and content platform. The most closed system, made the biggest open software and content platform. I think only Apple can do it.
Fourth, Concentration VS Diversification
Usually, there are only one or two main products in Apple's new products conference, such as iPod, iPhone and iPad, respectively, for Mp3, mobile phones and portable PC market. When a new product released, each competitor will launch several products to suppress Apple products, but no avail. Apple products like the iPhone operating system does not support multitasking, the user can focus on one program. But like iPhone, every Apple product runs as wonderful as each program. Apple has also created the MP3, mobile phones, and in 2010, it will create a tablet PC legend.
Fifth, the most simple design to achieve the most complex features
It is concluded that, the success of Apple products is due to its easy-to-use interface: iPod - With a thumb, you can complete the music selection and playback control; iPhone screen touch technology - make your finger is flexible as mouse. Apple has built-in position sensor, the product itself is a rocker. The latest showed iPad, the flash show of the stacks is especially cool, regardless of the bookcase or the flipping flash; all do as a real book.
Sixth, Either too late or too early to enter the market.
Carefully users may found that a lot of parameters of Apple products are not the best, when they comparing Apple with other products. Apple win just because it caught the best opportunity to enter the market. Naturally out of the iPod. When iPhone launched in 2007, coincided with the smart phone replacement; and 2010 released iPad, also coincides with the traditional Internet in a severe state and the flat electronic equipment markets mature. Apple's released time is just right, not early nor too late.
