Some companies will offer Myspace this week

According to foreign media reports, one informed source said ,News Corp is expected to receive the bid for Myspace before the weekend.

Informed source from China wholesale epathchina said there would be about five or more companies will bid for the entire Myspace company or part of the company. The value of the acquisition is about 100 million U.S. dollars.

"Wall Street Journal" reported Tuesday firstly on plans for the acquisition of Myspace and the expected value of the bid.

the companies expected to bid for Myspace are private equity firm THL Partners, venture firms Redscout Ventures and the owner of social networking site Bebo, the Criterion Capital. Including Chinese Internet companies Tencent and Myspace co-founder Chris De Wolfe and other bidders are also checking the Myspace's accounts to see whether it is worthwhile to bid for Myspace.

News Corp in 2005, defeated other media companies and acquired Myspace with over 580 million. The same as the other social network, Myspace is a pioneer in the field of social networking from 2005 to 2007. However, Myspace soon lost to Facebook.
