Staying Industry Current - Interior Design Conferences

Are you interested in a career in Interior Design? Want to learn all you can about the industry? Well, you can stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry just by attending conferences and other industry events. Here are a few Interior Design conferences to keep in mind:

Greenbuild - Greenbuild was launched in 2002. It is the world's largest conference and expo dedicated to green building. This show is normally held during November. The 2009 show featured 1,900 exhibit booths and more than 100 educational sessions.

Highpoint Market - Started in 1909, the Highpoint Market is known as "the world’s home for home furnishings." The High Point Market is the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world, bringing more than 85,000 people to High Point every six months. The show has more than 2,000 exhibitors, and 110 countries are represented. The market is held in April and October in High Point, North Carolina.

Hospitality Design Boutique Exposition & Conference - If you’re interested in working in hospitality design, this show is for you. You’ll have the chance to discover the industry’s newest and most innovative products, debuted by more than 600 manufacturers and artisans. You’ll also get to view select hospitality design resources in an intimate, relaxed environment. This conference is held in Las Vegas and Miami.

NeoCon (The National Exposition of Contract Furnishings) - This expo debuted in 1969 and is now considered the largest trade show of its kind in North America. Complete with 1,200 showrooms and exhibits, NeoCon offers a unique combination of residential and commercial furnishings in one convenient location. This event is held in Chicago.
