It is mentioned in both of the two companies’ statements that in the self-examination it is discovered that in the aspect of providing the special line turning to the Internet service provider, “the price administration is not fully effective and the price difference is big.”
The telecommunication also indicated that it would comb the existing agreements, and reduce the fees standard probably. In addition, it will realize the expansion of content as soon as possible with backbone network operation businesses such as the link, the Unicom and so on. Because the domain monopoly in the broadband access of these two companies have created the problem that it is difficult to lower the market fees, two companies also pledged in the statement, that in the “twelfth-five” period, they would largely promote the publicity of the optical fiber turning on and the speed of broadband access. The China Telecommunication has also put out the concrete implementation timetable, “in five years the band width price for the public user will drop about 35%, and this measure will be implemented immediately.”
