The Differences Between PVE and PVP in DC Universe Online

Players can choose to play PvE or PvP mode in DC Universe Online. PvE is Player vs Environment, but PvP is player vs player. PvP is hard to build which needs DCUO best PVP weapons. Here is DC Universe Online PvE vs PvP including the major differences and how to switch pve to pvp.

In DCUO, the only difference between PvE and PvP is open combat between heroes and villains. Everything else is the same. you can still battle other heros in PVE in controlled instances. These battles occur between players in PVP both in controlled instances and whenever two members of opposing factions meet. Anyone can attack you and you can attack anyone (as long as they're in an opposing faction)

PvE and PvP should be the same in terms of game content. In PvP players of the opposing faction can attack you whenever. So if your a low level villain it's best to steer clear of higher level hero's, and vice versa. If you just want a strickly co-operative experience PvE is for you, If you want to be able to attack other player heros/villains go PvP .

The only way you can enter PVP on a PVE server is to "flag" yourself for PVP by typeing "/pvp" I am not sure how you exit it.
exit the same way you enter. Then do it repeatedly.

If you used /pvp to go into PvP, using it again will remove the flag. the game makes you wait a little to turn it off though (so it's not used as a mean to escape from battle)

Sometime some rarer enemies make you think they were a player though, if you never used /pvp, it was probably that.
