There has been a detailed dismantling of iPad 3G, so let us see what the differences are between iPad 3G+WiFi and iPad Wifi.
First of all, visually, there is a black plastic component at the back of iPad 3G in order to solve the signal reception. 3G version of iPad support UMTS / HSDPA technology, of course, backward compatible GSM and EDGE.
It seems from the front, that 3G version iPad has no front camera, which is a pity to be said

From the back, 3G and WiFi version are not much different.
Forced open the back of the card body mouth, you can open the machine through opening card interface at the back of the phone.
You will see two huge batteries, after opening the screen, the part that is clamped between battery and rear cover is motherboard.
Remove some metal protection, and then continue to open the communication module to see the Micro SIM card.
You can compare the two different SIM cards in size.
The step is to check the signal receiving antenna.
And then you will see the GPS, from left to the right: WiFi Bluetooth, GPS and 3G.
See the motherboard to find the difference between 3G and WiFi, the main differences are that 3G has GPS integrated circuits besides of A4 and 3G signal communication circuit.
There is no difference at the bottom of motherboard.
Through dismantling, you will see that there are no big difference between iPad 3G and iPad WiFi.
