When everyone talks about 3G phone, HTC has introduced the first 4G phones. If you want to know more about the first 4G phone in the world, the article can help you.

After the current wave of sell-outs and empty stocks we’ve had the “pleasure” to witness, carriers ought to be searching for solutions. Lately, four much expected smartphones turned up short and unable to get in the hands of all the customers that ordered the devices in advance. After the crashes of HTC’s EVO 4G and Apple’s iPhone, soon came the fall of Motorola’s Droid X even with the promises from Verizon that stores would be capable of honoring every order. Being the first to reach the market with a release date on June 4, 2010, it’s natural to assume that Sprint will make the first step to remediate these issues. And they did by adding the white version of the HTC EVO 4G on their catalogue. The downside is that this phone is currently available only online and in select stores.

This so called white EVO 4G actually has the same black front face as the original version but differs in its back side, presenting some red accents on a white background. This new look of “America’s first 4G phone” as Bestbuy put it sounds pretty appealing and BestBuy provides the possibility of online orders for both black and white versions of the HTC EVO 4G, so if you’re interested you should hurry up cause we don’t know how much this would last or how late you’ll get your phone if you keep waiting.

The “Supersonic” EVO 4G was launched back in June, on the fourth, from Sprint Nextel and was promising to be one of the top smartphones yet to be seen. This was due to its 1 GHz Snapdragon processor or its 4.3 inch capacitive multi-touch screen or the 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and the 1.3 megapixel one facing the front and of course because of the presence of Google’s Android Éclair as the device’s operating system. The most impressive thing about this smartphone was the fact that it was the pioneer for the 4G network, working in both the 3G and the 4G markets and providing the capability of 8 connections of Wi-Fi enabled devices. Pretty much the full package which leaves no room for complaints but we’re still waiting for the Froyo update.
