Please welcome Stéphane Lo Presti, who now take care of the Francophone community of Guild Wars 2 Gold and Guild Wars 2 !

Hello everyone

My name is Stéphane Lo Presti and I am the French Community Manager for Guild Wars. I am currently working at NCsoft Europe with the aim of moving the offices of ArenaNet in Seattle more or less rapidly. I'm part of Team Community ArenaNet, which also includes Martin Kerstein, Regina Buenaobra and Emily Diehl. I would follow the French GW fan sites, as well as edit and write the French content of our communications tools. You can also meet me in person at conventions or tournaments that I will help to organize or operate.

I played Guild Wars for over 3.5 years, taking pleasure in playing the PvE and PvP varied slightly (and look). I started playing on a console with Pong in the early '80s and have since played many games, not all on a PC, always seeking a new interesting challenge. I like to play mages, science fiction and solve puzzles. I'll play probably an Asura in Cheap Guild Wars 2 Gold;). I like MMOs because they bring together the players and provide new social adventures. I can not wait to interact and work with the community GW!

I was trained in France as a software engineer (and enjoy some cool extra curricular activities such as RPG of the table or robotic), but I boldly decided to get a PhD and a career academic in the next 10 years. I taught a variety of computer topics to a large amount of public, while spending my free time to participate and to study the birth of online communities as we know them now. I looked closely (and in many corners) to MMOs and social networks because they are probably the most interesting social tools here!
