Everyone knows the word “Fashion” but not so many ones know the word Fashion Obsessivewhich means someone who have an obsession of a fashion thing and will try all means to make themselves look fashionable at all cost. In fact, it is actually a kind of psychological disease due to human beings’ anxiety of being admitted and respected by the society. How do I know this? You are right- I used to be a Sky-High Heels Shoes obsessive.

Like many other girls of my age, I had the dream to become a super model and make catwalk shows in a T-platform surrounded by camera flash. In a word, I really appreciate the feeling of being everyone’s focus. However, the only problem is, my height is just 162cm, far from the popular standard of female models. Now, I think you might understand why I had an obsession of Sky-High Heels Shoes. Yes, that’s because I once naively thought that Sky-High Heels Shoes could help visually enhance my height and thus gave my model figure. You will never know what I did when my mind was filled by those crazy thoughts - I even took my mother’s present for my 18th birthday, a pair of exquisitely designed prom shoes from milanoo (pictured to the left), out of my wardrobe and threw it away simply because the heels were not high enough in my mind. Soon afterwards, only shoes with Sky-High Heels (For example, the one in the right picture) still remained in my wardrobe.

But, what did those Sky-High Heels Shoes bring me? Just look at the following extract from my dairy: “…Oh no, I tripped and fell on to the concrete floor, damn it! Why did I fail to keep balance again? I was quite sure that I paid extra attention before the bad luck stroke me. At that time, I thought I must looked like rabbits trapped in the headlights with face taut and my eyes wide with fear and tears…” “…When walking down the door steps, I wobbled and stumbled. My poor ankle, I can’t recall exactly the number of times that you swell up like an eggplant… ” By rights, I should have realized that those Sky-High Heels Shoes were virtually impossible to walk in for a girl who didn’t receive any special training. However, the desire of having model figure and being fashionable to catch people’s attention still burst the dyke of reason. Every time I sweared to abandon such foolish behavior, my vanity forced me to continue fooling.

The above mentioned isn’t all. Things began to getting worsen 3 months ago. I suddenly found I had a morbid fear of walking. In other words, I just could control my feet. Although I tried my best to keep balance when standing, my feet still wobbled and trembled automatically so that I could hardly stand, let alone walking or running. After I was sent to the hospital, my doctor told me that too often ankle sprain had injured the nerve fiber of my feet. I told him my experience; he was quite surprised and advised me to see psycho doctor. It was from my psycho doctor that I began to realize all of my sufferings were due to the so-called “ Fashion Obsession ”. In fact, it was my unpractical obsession of fashion but not my Sky-High Heels Shoes continuously sprained my ankle and finally sent me to hospital. Gratifying my vanity at the cost of my health, how fool I was!

This is the end of my story and I really want to remind every girl in the world that “Pursuing fashion is very natural for a girl but please be aware of the ‘Fashion Obsession’. Say, if you think high heels shoes will add to your beauty, then go ahead. However, do remember that the height of heel isn’t the height of fashion! ”
