The Keys to Success in MLM - From A Master and an Observer

There are 100s of thousands of self-help eBooks online these days with the word success in the titles. In fact, it's kind of a joke with publishers. You see, everyone is pitching how to become successful at this, that, or the other thing. Not long ago, someone I met at an RV stop in a million dollar motor coach explained to me over coffee that he'd made his money in the multi-level marketing business and now he travels around the country visiting his down-line, a good many of them quite successful in their own right these days.

Anyway, another gentleman approached us as we were talking and said he wanted to get into whatever business that million dollar motor coach owner was in, and he asked him what were the keys to success in the MLM business? The MLM Motor Coach entrepreneur, well, he just smiled and asked me if I wanted to take a crack at it. I said sure, and I told the inquisitive gentleman that it didn't really matter what you did in life or what you wanted to achieve in any human endeavor, the principles are always the same. He said; "really what's that?" - and I replied:

You must work smart
You must make a lot of friends along the way
You must work hard
And You must Never Give Up!

And I told him; "that's all you really need to know" and "thus, I suppose in an multi-level-marketing business it's the same thing." The most interesting thing happened, the gentleman in the ritzy RV said to me; "you sure you aren't involved in MLM, you should be!" And I took this to mean that he agreed with my observations. Next, he said to the both of us standing there that there is one thing he'd like to add to this conversation:

"You need to choose a company with a really good product, one that's needed, and has a group of people who will support you as you grow your business. Other than that, I think all together that's all you need to know," and then he admitted to us, that's all he really knew.

You see, he'd made a success in his MLM business over the last 7-8 years, and today he noted the business was growing itself and there were so many new people joining into the organization he created, he was having a rather tough time trying to meet all the new people, but that was his goal going forward - hence the dazzling RV he was traveling in. Please consider all this.
