Ask yourself, how many times did you wish your music to be found online in an easy and quick way? Wouldn't it be great if your music could get promoted and attract more fans? What use of being on iTunes , Napster or anywhere if nobody knows about you and the chance of getting heard is practically negligible? As for myself, I am tired of doing searches that will give me some partial results or on the other hand, a limitless number of files and links that are to open up one by one in order to find the information I was hoping to get in a second and with only a few clicks. And that is not enough! I want to combine the multiple search criteria, I want to be able to check "Artist Name" and/or "Track Title" at the same time, maybe I am willing to find someone by the date his music was released. And maybe I am curious to see who sells music on iTunes and/or Amazon and whose music goes under "Instrumental" and/or "Hard Rock"... Or all of that together... And what is the most important, all data MUST BE exposed in a plain and simple way, clearly visible and pleasant for one's eyes. Not to be tossed inside out all over a web site. Unless it is there at all... Web sites like "MySpace" are pretty good, but for one's fans only, who already know about him. Who is going to find me on "MySpace" or anywhere, if people have never heard of me? I have to get myself present in a database with a powerful search engine beforehand. Thus I could be found very easily. And once someone finds me over there in that database, all my data is to be seen, including a link to "MySpace" or to another web site of my own. Of course, if someone likes my music and wants to buy it, let him have a direct link to the store where my content is online, why not? Let it all be in one place, we don't want to waste our time running around the internet to gather information we need about a song or an artist.
