Rugby league is one of the fastest-rising sports in the United States. Although it enjoys popularity in places such as Europe, Australia and New Zealand, rugby has yet to make its mark on the United States. However, the rising popularity of rugby league in the US something that can be truly assured, especially with the American participation in the recently-concluded Rugby League World Cup and the increased interest in the sport in places such as Denver, Colorado.

Rugby league is somewhat similar to American football. One of the main differences between the two sports, aside from the set of rules that govern each sport, is that rugby tends to be more fast-paced than American football. Both rugby league and American football bring the same type of intensity and excitement to participants on the pitch and the fans on the stands.

The sport of rugby league is known throughout the world for its physical demands. Since rugby league is a full-contact sport, it is important for the participants to have a strong upper body. At the same time, there is also a need for rugby players to have strong legs, since the sport involves spending long periods of time running from one end of the pitch to the other.

In the United States, a rugby league club is slowly gaining the interest of people. For instance, the people of Glendale, Colorado have a long-standing tradition of having rugby teams that have participated in both national and international events. These people’s pride and love for rugby league is clearly displayed with the development of Infinity Park, which is slated to be the first purpose-built rugby stadium in the United States.

The rugby league club in Glendale also takes things one step further by letting the sport be known by more Americans, especially the youth. Eventually, rugby lovers hope that their efforts in elevating the sport towards American consciousness will pay off well.

A rugby league club is well on its way to becoming popular in the United States. Rugby league is one way for Americans to further integrate themselves into the global community, given the sport’s popularity in other parts of the world.
