The Acai berry is a super food weapon we can add to our arsenal to fight deficiencies in our diet. We don't always get the nutrients we need in our diets daily. In fact, most of us do not get the recommended servings of fruit and vegetables every day, and that causes our bodies to become deficient in nutrients like Vitamin C, antioxidants and minerals and leaves us vulnerable to poor health and disease.

The Acai berry is a fruit that contains powerful antioxidants in amounts much higher than other fruits. Essential fatty acids such as Omega 9, Omega 3 and Omega 6, which are necessary for nearly all body functions to work properly, are found in high amounts in Acai berries . Acai berries also contain a healthy dose of potassium, niacin and vitamins such as Vitamin C and E. These vitamins and essential fatty acids in the berry help our bodies stay healthy and fortify our bodies. Antioxidants are used by the body to fight free radicals that damage our cells. The Acai berry is loaded with the antioxidants we need.

The remaining 19 different amino acids, phytonutrients, fiber and various minerals contained in the Acai berry round out the total nutritional punch that the Acai berry has for our bodies. Acai berry is found in supplement form, or can be drank as a juice with or without the pulp. It's an easy way to give your body the vital nutrients it requires for good health.
