Steel coil has many industrial uses such as in fabrication and manufacturing. Steel coils and variations of it can be made either into coil or in a constant roll. Steel coils can also be fabricated into to be rolled flat and be cut in any desired length or shape.

Steel coils are very useful because of its natural ability to resist rust and corrosion. It is available in different proportions, ranging from 6 inches to 24 inches wide and up to 10 feet long especially when the steel coil is still flat and not rolled into continuity. As such varying sizes, it is suited for different types of application within the industrial and manufacturing factories that often deal with the usage of coil.

These coils are oftentimes used by construction workers who work on the roofing projects of establishments and residential structures. It is used as a protective shield and cover over the rows in the roof system. The coils also create a division for the rainy or winter season when there is fast-travelling excess of rain and melting residues from the snow.

Another steel coil in common use is thesteel pony coil. Steel pony coils are primarily used for steel strapping and weight issues. Although steel strapping is a very big lift in carrying some materials for transport, it could take a lot of time due to its size and because of the nature of lifting these big cargoes and load it into trailers and trucks.

This is where the superiority of steel pony coils comes into play. Because of the relative size and weight of these coils, transportation and handling costs are efficiently reduced, saving a lot of money and time during the shipping of cargoes. In turn, steel pony coils increase the business’s capability as well as its efficiency, increasing the profit in the process.

A steel pony coil measures roughly about 200 or 300 foot reel. That is equivalent to the range of 8-18 lbs and can actually vary in size. These coils can be lifted and are more easily dispatched and transported which means it can take less time and increasing the productivity.
