In the early 90’s Iwas heavily involved in weightlifting, Powerlifting to be precise. It involves three lifts, sqaut, bench press and deadlift. In competition, you are put into weight classes. Whomever has the highest weight total for the three lifts in your class wins. A powerlifters diet was easy, eat everything and anything you wish. A “ see-food “ lovers dream! The idea was the more you weigh, the more weight you lift. It sure did work. I got to 282 pounds after about two years of powerlifting. At 5’10”, 282lbs , I starting thinking this was unhealthy. My stomach was getting in my way. I had a lot of knowledge about dieting. Time to start using it. I picked up a book, “ How to Flatten Your Stomach Fast “ at a local bookstore. What a waste of money! I wanted to flatten my stomach fast but this was ridiculous, and this book was written by a dietician. I’m from the old school, I believe in proven methods. Not gimmicks, or the newest fads sold on TV by a celebrity. If you are sincere and want to flatten your stomach fast, I’ll tell you how I did it. First, if your gut is really big, it’s gonna take a little longer. Be realistic there are no magic pills. Put yourself in the right state of mind, it’s very important. Start NOW! Today I weigh 187lbs, almost twenty years later. 2. Good old fashioned sit-ups. Yep, they still work the best! Start slow and work your way up. I started with 10 in the morning and 10 at night. Today I do 50 and 50. 3. Crosstraining. If you play a sport, great. I like to walk. Do what you like but keep active. These three tios will flatten your stomach fast.and will keep it flat.
