Today's Health Insurance: Serious Issue In The U.S.

Recently, death threats targeted law makers who pushed through U.S. President Obama's Health Insurance Plan. The Plan has scores of American voters and tax payers up in arms. This Plan will serve well those who are unemployed, uninsured, un-insurable and those who have serious health issues as well as healthy young adults. This Plan is not so good for those who have good insurance and benefits. This Plan threatens to increase premium rates with no added benefits. Could this be what needs to be changed in this Plan?

If a charitable donation write off were offered to offset the certain impending premium rate hikes, would this take wind out of the fight? Would this give the needed incentive to pay more without question? Would it stop the finger pointing at those living in their midst who they perceive to be lazy or just wanting hand outs. Medical debts is one of the top reasons people file bankruptcy. A growing number of Americans are dying every year because of the out of reach health care they need. Millions are sent to other nations without question; while a different message is sent to our own neighbors, that we will put up a fight to NOT provide health care for the needy among us. Something seems to be wrong with this picture.

While not being able to write off the premium increase as a charitable donation might be reason enough in their mind to get fighting mad, it might not be the most important reason. If a government and its law makers are never challenged in their unconstitutional decisions, corrupt laws will never be challenged. This safety net forces the powerful to repeal, rethink and revise any changes John Q. Public views as corrupt and unconstitutional.

All this complaining and being up in arms might seem justified by some. This Health Care Plan appears to be the answer for many U.S. citizens in dangerous dire straits. The bad economy caused already struggling American families to loose hope and just give up. The true scope of their plight may never be known.

We are Americans. We complain, we expose and fight against the unjust things done to us, no matter where it comes from. The fight is fiercest when we feel we are being fleeced, only to see the already rich and powerful benefit the most. The government's new health care plan may be the levelest the societal field has been in a while for the sick and less fortunate among us. It will offer some much needed hope in a bleak environment for so many. No one wants to be forced to pay more, especially if they feel they are being treated unfairly. Being ask to take a second, closer look at this hot issue might bring into view a clearer focus on the much bigger picture and the need for this necessary change.

When you get a couple health insurance quotes, you will learn how fast that you can acquire quality, affordable health insurance for your family.
