Around 66,000 visitors spent their holiday in the central city of Da Nang on Vietnam’s National Day (September 2), an increase of 20 percent over last year’s holiday, said the city’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

More than 4,000 tourists chose to stay in Ba Na Hills Resorts and almost the same number visited Son Tra Pennsylvania on the occasion.
Many tourist sites in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue, including the Imperial Citadel and Thuan An beach, were also overcrowded with visitors.
