Mr. Roni Herskovitz the CEO of ultimate fares is a prime example of what happens to companies that try to get a piece of the market. Mr. Roni Herskovitz the CEO and President of ultimatefares.com a company that started in 2005. Mr. Herskovitz has built the company over the last few years to be a top 10 rated travel service on the web. The problems for Mr. Roni Herskovitz and www.ultimatefares.com started when American Airlines decided to start a class action law suit against ultimatefares.com along with a few other smaller online travel agencies . After many months and large amount of money spent on legal fees American Airlines dropped the suit against Mr. Herskovitz and www.ultimatefares.com. But since American Airlines was not happy with the results they have contacted the D.O.T to further investigate Mr. Roni Herskovitz and the online practices of www.ultimatefares.com. Mr. Roni Herskovitz decided to continue the fight against the D.O.T as well but the legal fees are mounting and that is the sole purpose of this government organization to use tax payer’s money to sue companies and to bring them to their knees because of the legal fees involved in defending such an action.
