There are numerous ways practical for video marketers to optimize their videos and channels for better ranking during the entire search pages (whether that is certainly Google’s search page, YouTube’s or a different website).

On this page I’m going to illustrate both the easiest to implement methods this happen to be the main - that is certainly by optimizing the meta information and secondly by helping the user activity on your target videos.

For your first method (optimizing it meta information) what I’m speaking about is specifically researching low competition keywords that are already being searched by users on a regular basis. So, for instance, if your video is all about a review of the iPhone, rather than just writing “iPhone review” you may spend more time researching this topic, and you'll end up instead using a title like “iPhone Unboxing and Video Review”. In this way, you are targeting keywords/tags that have less competition, but which are still being searched by users. Also, through the use of such long-tail names, in some instances as a side-effect you may actually target short-tail names (like “iPhone unboxing” and “iPhone video review”).

For that second method (increasing user activity around a relevant video) that basically means making your videos more abundant of views, comments plus make sure your channel is optimized such and contains more subscribers. The simplest way to implement that is to start off by boosting your YouTube views (meaning getting more views), as that is certainly usually the the very first thing and will overtime cause your video to rank higher and so help you in getting the other elements (comments, subscribers, etc.).

I hope I’ve been helpful in explaining both of these methods, as you fully understand them and begin using them on every one of your videos and channels, then go for it you are going to greatly raise the amount of viewers that you are going to reach (and it doesn’t matter should your videos are advertisements, promotional material or your bands latest song, this will aid in every situation). Also note that it’s never past too far to change your video’s meta information or increase the views - pretty much any video site that I’ve been in (YouTube, Dailymotion, Metacafe, etc.) have allowed me to change/edit all of my videos. Plus there are ways to increase the thoughts about all of those sites.
