For years, youngsters have been encouraged to start communicating with other children in other countries as part of a pen friend scheme. Schools will often organise them as they serve as a fantastic way for children to learn about new countries and cultures.

One of the main benefits to having a pen friend in a country such as France or Spain is that you will be able to practice your language skills by writing letters. In turn, they can write letters to you in English which will certainly help them with their grasp of what can be an incredibly difficult language to learn.

It is always fantastic to receive a letter in the post, but there is something better – a parcel with a letter! Having one land on your doorstep first thing in the morning is always an exciting thing, and so why not make someone else’s day and send your pen friend a package. You could write a letter and then send it over with some goodies from Britain, perhaps a mug with a picture of the Queen on! Whatever you decide to send, you will find that the process is very simple when you choose to go through an online parcel service.

Organising to send a package through the internet is probably a lot simpler than you think. The process only takes a matter of minutes to complete, and there is absolutely no stress or hassle involved. Your pen friend will be receiving their gift before you know it!

One thing that you will want to take a bit of time over when you are sending a package to another country is the packaging of your parcel. Understandably you will want to make sure that it arrives at its destination in one piece and so don’t take any risks. Get some strong packaging materials together to start with and ensure the contents of the parcel cannot knock into each other while they are in transit. If the parcel you are sending will be travelling a fair distance then there is a chance that it will receive a few knocks and bumps on the way over. Do not make the mistake of letting it break during its journey.

Keeping in touch with a pen friend in another country can be great fun and you’re sure to see your language skills improve significantly. Find out how simple it really can be sending a package with a world courier.

Look on the internet for a cheap parcel delivery service from UK courier services.
