As we approach Valentine’s Day, it’s very interesting to have a look at our Stars in I Ching Astrology, from a relationship perspective.
As the oldest of all the currently practiced astrological systems, it has been an important guide to life for over 5000 years. All of these 9 different Stars in I Ching Astrology belong to one of the classic Five Elements in Chinese philosophy and history. These elements are Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal. On top of that, each one of these elements, for example, Water, would also get on very well with the same element of Water.
In turn, Water would be supported by an element, and thirdly, it would then support another element. Fourthly, Water would organise and protect another element. And finally, Water itself would be organised and protected by another element.
The fun part now is to apply this to I Ching Astrology and your own Birth Star and that of your partner. To work out your own Birth Star, go to our I Ching Astrology Star Sign Selector at http://www.iching-astrology.com/whats-your-sign. Remember that if you were born prior to 4 February, you actually age a year in this system, I’m sorry to tell you! Let’s begin.
The 1 Water Star gets on very well with any other Water Stars. It is supported by the 6 Heaven or the 7 Lake Star. In turn, it supports the 3 Thunder or the 4 Wind Star. It also organises and protects the 9 Fire Star, and finally, is organised and protected and given boundaries by the 2, the 5 or the 8 Stars.
The 3 Thunder and the 4 Wind Stars get on very well with each other. They are in turn supported by the 1 Water Star, and in turn, support the 9 Fire Star. Thunder and Wind organise all the Earth Stars – 2, 5 and 8. And, finally, they are organised and protected by the 6 Heaven Star and the 7 Lake Star.
The 9 Fire Star certainly gets on with other Fires. They are supported by the 3 Thunder and the 4 Wind Star. They support the 2 Earth Star, the 5 T’ai Chi Star and the 8 Mountain Star. They organise and protect the 6 Heaven and the 7 Lake Stars. They are kept in check and protected by the 1 Water Star.
The 2 Earth, the 5 T’ai Chi and the 8 Mountain Stars all get on great. They are supported by 9 Fire Stars. In turn, they support 6 Heaven and 7 Lake Stars. They keep the 1 Water in check by protecting and providing boundaries for them. Finally, they themselves are organised, protected and held together by the roots of plants from the Wood element, which are the 3 Thunder and the 4 Wind Stars.
The 6 Heaven and the 7 Lake Stars get on very well. They, in turn, are supported by any of the Earth Stars – 2, 5 or 8. They organise and protect the 3 Thunder and the 4 Wind Star. And lastly, their Metal is then kept in check, made more pliable, organised and protected by the feisty Fire Star.
Have a look at your elements because it’s fascinating. Who are you in relationship with currently? Who were your ex-partners?! That’s fascinating. Then look at your siblings. And, very interesting also, look at your parents.
Have a really fun look at this because it actually is very fascinating, simple, but very profound. Enjoy!
