Verizon will Issue 4G Cell Phone in the Next Midyear

According to the foreign media report, American mobile carrier Verizon wireless will issue its first 4G cell phone in the midyear of 2011, which is half-year earlier than the previous planned time.   Verizon 4G mobile phone will use LTE technology; Verizon Wireless CTO Anthony Melone expressed in the interview, the company will publish LTE service in some markets at the end of this year.   The release of 4G cellphone will be the key step that makes consumers enjoy LTE technology; furthermore, Verizon will also publish data cards suitable for notebook. At present, Sprint can not provide mobile phones supporting 4G technology, but plans to release mobile phones with this technology in this summer.   As for consumers, although LTE is faster, the price is higher. The current unlimited traffic package will become history, because carriers try to take back multi-billion-dollar expenditure used for paving new network. Melone affirmative disclosed, those packages allowing consumers unlimited consumption data should make changes.   AT&T’s high executive also made similar comment.
