You don't need to be a "tech-expert" on computers, camera, internet or anything else. Even a dummy can use Video marketing. Don't you believe me? You don't need to be a magnetic person to be in front of a camera. It's thru, everybody can benefit from using video marketing.
Well, are you ready to start rigth now?
First of all, you would have the right equipment, it's easy to have a good equipment with a low budget. Of course you need a camera, but don't be affraid, you don’t need to spend a lot of money it. Maybe you would like to use a tripod to fix your camera. It's important that your visitors pay attention to what you tell them and a camera that moves all the time is could be very distracting.
A microphone it's also necessary. If you make your videos with your web cam, you probably could use your computer 's microphone. But be careful if you are filming in noisy places, your videos need to have your voice clearly recorded.
Don’t read a script if you are speaking in your video, your visitors would find it very boring. But you don’t need to learn everything you have to say! You can write some notes and speak like you are talking to a friend. The most important thing is to connect with your audience. That's it!
Be careful with visual contact, it really builds trust. Try to speak at the camera -don’t forget to look at the camera- with a friendly voice. Speak whit confidence and try to attract your visitors to you and what are talking about.
The lights are very important. Again, you don’t need so much money, but you would like to purchase a couple of goods lamps to make sure that you face has enougth light. Put the lights quite near the camera and in front of you. If the light shines on your face, your video will have a higher quality.
And what's about the background? you don't need to worry about it. A clean one it's a good choice. You don’t want that your visitor get distracted by different things behind you. With a little big expertise, you would probably like to use the "chroma-key" effect for your backgrounds.
Actually, you can record your video anywhere you want: in your living room, your office, in the kitchen, the garden… Choose a place where you feel comfortable and relates to what you are talking about on your video.
Finally, avoid distractions. Making your video in a quiet place it's a good choice. Sometimes a dog barking or birds arrouns you gives a natural touch and noises can be distracting. You can do that, in fact, a lot of internet marketers make their videos with "natural sons"... but, remember: noises can't be distracting".
