Water leaks at a high pressure from a pipe would form bubbles and cause the soap to splash indicating the existence of leaks i.e. these soap bubbles discover the location of leaks in the piping.

Use of pressure gauge is checking the new water supply lines installations. The gauge is attached to the open plumbing fitting. Before attaching the gauge the water should be shut off and the system should be dry. We should then start the system to fill with water. A dial is present at the end of the gauge body. When the water starts filling in, the dial monitors the amount of pressure. The technicians keep the pressure gauge on for an elongated time. If the gauge monitors the pressure becoming unusually low, this gives a clear indication of leaking in the pipe.

When the system is off, ultraviolet dyes are used on the pipeline. These dyes are bright. Detection light shines on the dye to find any faults or breaks in the pipe. If there is any leak, the ultraviolet dye appears to be bright. This is a very cheap (inexpensive), efficient and effective tool.
