The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation hosts the annual College Television Awards through its Education Programs department, honoring exceptional work from around the nation.
The College Television Awards is a nationwide competition recognizing excellence
in college student produced video, digital and film production
Successful television professionals spanning four decades have been College Television Award winners.
Selected winners will be:
* Invited to pitch their piece to a development executive
* Matched with an industry mentor
* Provided with film stock from Kodak Entertainment Imaging
* Provided with educational software from Entertainment Partners
Special Honors
* The Loreen Arbus Focus on Disability Scholarship New This Year!
$10,000
This award will be given to a writer, producer or director who is disabled, to a producer whose piece focuses on people disabilities, or to a piece that features a person with a disability as one of the main characters. more
* Seymour Bricker Family Humanitarian Award
$4,000
The winner of this award will be selected from any of the first and second place winning pieces in any category that best represents a humanitarian concern.
* Directing Award
$1,000
The winner of this award will be selected from a first or second place comedy, drama, documentary, or narrative series.
