What is OnPage SEO?OnPage SEO is basically a term used for tangible changes made to your website. This usually directly relates to content on your website as well as hidden changes within your source code such as alt tags and title tags. Search engines such as Google will then visit your website and will notice these changes which will potentially change the outcome of your rankings.What is OffPage SEO?OffPage SEO is also known as link building. It is where you strategically place backlinks on other websites and web properties which link back to your website. This acts as a kind of vote and over time helps to increase your rankings. OffPage SEO is essential and is something that you really need to implement if you are serious about earning a living online.Building links though can be a long, tedious task and can take a lot of your time up. It is also important to get different types of backlinks pointing to your websites. These links need to be from a diverse range of sites rather from just one website. The search engines need to see that other independent sites are linking to your website.When I first started in Internet Marketing I saw the acronym SEO all over the place and I asked myself what is SEO. So I decided to do a search and find out what it was. I found out that SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization.A search engine is where people go to find information on the internet like Google, Yahoo, Bing etc. People who have websites want their content to be as close to the number one spot as possible, hence optimization. If their content is in the number one spot their is a much more likely chance that their website will be clicked on. The more clicks they get, the more traffic they get to their website and then more sales, leads or whatever their goal is from that traffic.What I am going to teach you today are some tips for getting your article to the first page in the search engines SEO, and if you find the right keywords you can get to the first spot. All of these techniques are free to do.1. Keywords - a keyword is the main subject of what is being searched for or what is in the mind of your customer or prospect. Use the Google keyword tool to help with this. Put a keyword in your title and once per paragraph. Find keywords that are low to medium in competition and high in global monthly searches.2. Pictures - the search engines love pictures so put a picture in your article. It can be a picture of your or something relevant to your content.3. Article directories - post your article to 5 or more article directories to get what is called back-links to your site. The search engine love back-links, it makes your site look important.4. Video - make a short video and post it to you tube about your article and put the link to your article at the bottom this gets your more back-links. Put that video on You Tube. Go to a website called Tube Mogul to blast it out to hundreds of other video sites to get even more back links.5.
