A chemical peel is a body treatment technique that helps rejuvenate the skin. Its main process involves peeling off the dead skin and letting fresh new skin regenerate. This results in fewer wrinkles, less freckles and a decrease in any other skin marks that were seen in the old skin. There are different types of chemical peels; all depending on the intensity of the procedure.

The mildest of them all is known as alpha hydroxy acid peels. Also known as AHA, this type uses natural acids such as carboxylic acid and glycolic acid. They are ingredients of sugar cane, tomato juices and sour milk. AHA removes fine wrinkles and is used if patients have less serious concerns like removing dryness of the skin and clearing out acne.

Beta hydroxy acid peels, or BHA peels, are similar with AHA, but the main difference is that BHA can go deeper in the pores of the patient. As AHA only deals with the outermost layer of the skin, BHA can also help control oil secretion. It also does a more extensive job in removing dead skin cells that eventually cause dryness.

Formerly known as Coombe's formula, the Jessner’s peel solution combines very mild amounts of chemicals to give the skin a more thorough cleaning. Using an ethanol base, 14% salicylic acid, lactic acid and resorcinol are mixed together. This type of chemical peel tampa does not damage the skin because of the little amount of chemicals used to do the procedure.

The next kind of chemical peel is used for deeper cleaning. The retinoic acid peel is normally done by a plastic surgeon or dermatologist, the same people who do [url=http://www.adamscheinermd.com/non-surgical/botox-tampa-fl.cfm]botox tampa fl. It has a retinoic acid concentration of 25% - 50%. Retinoic acid is made in the body from vitamin A that helps in cell development and it also increases the skin’s absorption of substances. It is used to reduce wrinkles and remove scars from patients’ skin.

There are other different types of chemical peel tampa, but these are the most common ones offered by doctors. Through this procedure, perfect skin can be nearly attained. Confidence and self-esteem is easily restored, as well.
