In doing this it means that you can start packing when youwish, worry less about finding ways to box items at the last minute and giveyourself a peace of mind on the day of the move. A lot of people prefer to buyremoval boxes as they are clean, strong, and perhaps more efficient than secondhand styles, however not everybody has this as an option and there are manydifferent ways to find suitable second hand boxes for your move. The first place to look is in the garages and cupboards of family andfriend’s. There will undoubtedly be a lot of people close to you who have movedmany times and will have plenty of containers and boxes that are lying aroundunused. Neighbours are also a good bet, particularly if they have just movedin. The next place to look is charities and boot sales. People use boxes tocarry items in to and fro so if the items are sold or used than the boxes arenow useless and I’m sure people will be happy for you to take them off theirhands. Remember to be polite and expect a few no’s from people who may needthem for future moves however. Another good place to find boxes is your local supermarket. Any real kindof retail business and in particular grocery stores will have various sizedboxes lying around. These are also places where recycling may not always behigh priority so you can make it your duty to save these boxes before they aresimply thrown into the rubbish bin. To get these boxes from them you couldeither take a trip round to the back of these stores to find them in the binsor if you want to find some with a little more class you could just try simplyasking the manager/staff yourself. Freebie sites on the internet are full of people waiting to get rid ofthings they just don’t need anymore. It’s worth a look to find post movers whohave a pile of boxes to give away. Be sure to get in there quick though asthese items can also be snapped up just as quickly as they were posted. Be sure to do your part after you have used these boxes and moved inyourself however. To help someone else out try making a profile on a freebiewebsite yourself or give them away to passers by at the next boot sale you hold.
