Stage 1 is good on low power cars for a little boost especially low in the power/rev band. It takes less exhaust pressure to spin the turbo for the power boost. Good for almost any cars for a little boost in power.

It is primarily good for tracks like Daytona, where high speeds keep the cars running high in revs.
