say to whispurr ? Social networking has evolved from message boards of  old to the real time micro-messaging services which are rampant today.  Due to technology, very couple of years, the network model changes and  competing websites have to change too in response or surrender their market share. In 2007 the concept of twitter changed the laws of social media by simply asking users 'what are you doing?'.  Social network giants facebook responded by creating 'feeds' on user's homepage. This concession was facebook's way of saying 'I need to be more like you'.   Beyond the numerous websites who mirrored twitter there are none that created  such a reaction, perhaps because there has not been a US Presidential election  since. Last year foursquare created a stir when it asked people to report on where they are and what they are doing. Inevitably this has become a forum for local business's to promote themselves rather than a place for people to socialise. Whispurr doesn't ask a specific question but rather it  wants you to communicate with people the same way online as you do offline.  The concept is that you create your different networks (it takes a minute) like  'family', 'work' or perhaps an interest based group like 'Italian cooking'. Thats it ! Ok there is more, you can contact your network online with 300 character real time messaging and contact people offline via Whispurrs phone text-messaging  service. Privacy is a growing priority for social networks and so with whispurr  you can make entire networks and their content invisible.  Each network you create has a common interest therefore the quality of the  information in a network is of a high standard. Whispurr is setting the bar  high for the new decade of social networks as it creates offline networks online, prioritises privacy and produces valuable content, it will be interesting to see how  twitter will react.
