It is so easy to place an order your promotional products from any vendors which can be found when you are online. In fact, vendors offer the same products which can be customized with your logoor design, whether you are getting them from small or largedistributors. The only thing that matters is that, it depends on whoyou are going with, and who are the sales people and customer serviceyou are working for your promotional products needs. Large distributorsmay have more people from sales and that is because they are receivingmore orders from customers and they have to attend to their needs byanswering the calls, sending emails, following up orders, gettinginquiries from new customers and so on. The problem may occur when theresponse is not immediately attended by sales people due to their busytime on their multi-tasking schedule. Especially if it is a rush orderthat needs to be taken care of, and if it is not being attended to, thetendency is that they would go for another vendor. That is more likelyto happen, especially if it is a peak season when there’s a trade showsor events. If the order has been placed, the order may be vulnerable tosome mistakes because of some of these factors, when rush order occurs. Small distributors with few sales people working for your promotional items may be favorable because they are still building up a customer base andtherefore they have more time of taking care of your order. They maynot be very busy as some of the large distributors and this may be dueto they are still getting more customers and need some breaks to getmore sales. I have worked with a large distributor before and at timesI work overtime, and I had no time to file my paid time off. This isbecause of my busy schedules processing orders for both new and oldcustomers. That is why I have experience how tough the job is, althoughit pays off my effort. At times response is not immediately done toboth inquiries and customers because of my tasks of doing them one at atime to avoid mistakes. A choice can be made based on the customer’s preference which vendorthey have to go with their order, but the only difference is that howthe service was delivered to the customer, given that they offer thesame products and services. Make sure that when you place an order, itcan be well taken care of by the experienced sales people or customerservice team who can get to your needs immediately. In that way, wheneverything is properly done, this will create a lasting relationshipbetween the customer and vendor.
