Bingo has always been one of the easiest games in the world to play. It is for this reason that bingo is often the first game children are introduced to on an educational level (alphabet bingo, math bingo, etc.) You might be surprised to learn that online bingo games are even easier to play than the traditional land-based version of the game.
One of the most appreciable aspects of an online bingo game is that you are not restricted to a single variation of the game. Many of you may be rather amazed to learn just how many ways there are to play online bingo.
If you live in the United States of America, you are likely only familiar with the standard rules of 75 Ball Bingo. Europeans are accustomed to the three line game of 90 Ball Bingo. Then we have the newer addition of 80 Ball Bingo, or Shutter Board Bingo as it is sometimes called. These are just the most commonly played online bingo games; the list goes on.
By purchasing and playing each of the online bingo games in an electronic, computer driven atmosphere, your responsibilities as a player are significantly decreased. In a live setting, you are expected to purchase only the number of tickets you can keep up with. For many, anything over 6 or 8 can become overwhelming.
When playing an online bingo game, you can purchase as many tickets as you like (without exceeding the maximum allowed) and never worry that you won’t be able to keep up. This is thanks to a little feature online bingo players have come to love, known as “Auto Daub”. You don’t have to scan your cards, clicking the numbers as they are called and hoping you got them right.
The Auto Daub feature will instantly mark off every called number of each card in your possession. If you prefer the realistic experience of daubing your own cards, you can disable the Auto Daub option at will. Most hard core bingo fans will try this when they first get started playing an online bingo game, but 99.99% of us revert to Auto Daub shortly thereafter. It’s just too convenient.
Another comparable difference between live and online bingo game play is that, in a live atmosphere, you often have to be the first person to call out bingo to claim the prize. In some cases the prizes are split among tying winners, but not all. And if you mismarked your cards at all, you could either be terribly embarrassed by a false “Bingo!” call, or may actually miss out on what should have been a win. You simply can’t mess up playing an online bingo game.
Even if you turn off Auto Daub, the computer still reads your cards correctly, regardless of how you daub them. If your card wins, you do not have to type “Bingo!” in the chat box. A little window pops up instantly in front of the online bingo game saying “You’ve Won!” or “You’ve got Bingo!” If two or more people win, the prize is automatically split between them.
If you still aren’t convinced just how fun an online bingo game can be, go to any bingo site on the internet and play a few games for free. You may even decide to abandon your Friday night games at the local chapel to play online bingo games for real money.
