XXRUB with Rob X,TheXiler, and Bryan G, started in September of 2008. From their very firstsession, they felt they can make great music together, and with such ease. Robboth sings and plays bass, while TheXiler is the best unknown guitarist around.Listen to all the solos! The ever talented Bryan G on drums also played saxophoneon "The Girl Who Sat Next To Me". All three are avid music fans, songwriters and composers. In "A Never Ending Walk", the band feltthey've created a very complete album, full of originality, tribute, joy, depthand meaning. They can't wait to play live and gain a massive audience. Watchout for them! (http://www.myspace.com/xxrub) The album was produced by XXRUB and engineered, mixed, and mastered by Fabian Roque of GT Productions of Los Angeles, CA. More details on the album: XXRUB is a massivevolcano ready to explode in all directions. They write songs as colossal asMount Everest and as deep as the Grand Canyon. The songs are captivating, enduring, and timeless. As passionate admirers of diverse musical genres, they've taken on stadium-sized sounds with their latest album. "A NeverEnding Walk", XXRUB's latest offering due out in the summer of 2009,paints with all the colors of rock and soul. Songs range from a BrianEno-inspired ambient tune (The Twilight Prelude) to a Morrocan-feel,jazz-infused groove (When The World Was Flat), from a Black Sabbath/AC?DC hardrocker (Maybe) to a bluesy/pop number (Let Me Take You), from reggae dub/skaquirkiness (The Girl Who Sat Next To Me) to a gospel intro with an eightiesgroove (Love Is Raining), a Beatlesque tribute (Tonight?), and definitely a BoDiddley riff like no other (Daydreamer). The title track is basically a"dream" put into a song. Some songs have some very seriousundertones, yet XXRUB never takes itself too seriously. Wide ranging are theirrock influences, from icons like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Brian Eno, PinkFloyd, Queen, The Clash, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, U2, and Bo Diddley...Godrest his soul. All are remarkably ever present in this project.   Song topics include: the possibleapocalyptic year of 2012, love on the brink of salvation, suicide,anti-suicide, the past's innocence, philosophy, theology, history, adaydreaming high school emo-girl, sin city, more love on the brink, and ofcourse, man's incapacity to learn his lessons."   1) The Twilight Prelude   (2:24) 2) When The World Was Flat(5:20) 3) Do It Again (3:54) 4) Love Is Raining (5:25) 5) Maybe (4:44) 6) Let Me Take U (4:10) 7) The Girl Who Sat NextTo Me (4:38) 8) Daydreamer (3:37) 9) Tonight?
