Yeast infections usually affect adult females; hence it is important to get rid of it. A dark and moist place like the female reproductive organ is the perfect host to a fungus like yeast. Yeast is already present in the reproductive organ's area of women in normal circumstances. Research has shown that yeast infection occurs at least once in the lifetime for 3 out of 4 women. The reason being that these women are more prone to female reproductive organ's yeast infections. Yeast infections tend to occur 4 to 5 times each year in the case of 5% women. Another point to be noted here is that some women may experience only slight symptoms while some may experience no symptoms at all. But still, it may be possible to pass on this yeast infection to the male partner. The symptoms in males are slightly different. These include the following: • Skin in the genital area getting chapped and dry • Gas and constipation • Appearance of rashes • The male reproductive organ head getting soreness • Thick and white discharge • Appearance of blisters Again, these symptoms are all close to symptoms you may experience with other conditions involving the genitals. It is crucial to know what to do about these yeast infection symptoms. Quickly treat these yeast infection symptoms in the right way. Care needs to be taken to prevent female reproductive organ's infection. Important thing here is hygiene. Female reproductive organ's area needs to be kept clean and dry. Always wear cotton undergarments. Innerwear which is synthetic should not be worn. A wet swimsuit should be changed immediately. Scented toilet paper, deodorant tampons as well as feminine sprays should not be used. A pelvic examination may be done to confirm the yeast infection symptoms in women. This will show any inflammation of the vulva. Yeast infection may be alleviated due to many reasons. It may be due to stress or due to lack of sleep. Another reason may be due to illness or during pregnancy. Eating too much of sugary food can also lead to yeast infection.
