Analyze that what you have achieved in your last year. Make a list including your highs and lows, things that you enjoyed most and you achievement in career and personal life.
Where do you want yourself?
Now as you have analyzed your progress in last year, it is the time to think that what do you want to achieve in the coming year. Be honest with yourself and enlist all your dreams and goals. If you want, you can enlist those dreams as well that you want to achieve but are out of your reach, as of now.
Make a plan:
Now when you are done with assessing your achievements in the past year and your goals for the next year, then comes the next step, planning. Consider the steps that you need to take to achieve your goals. Work out that what you are supposed to do in order to reach to the position that you have always dreamt of. Analyze total time to reach those heights.
How to stay focused?
We all know that planning is one thing but keeping yourself stuck with it another thing.

There are some tips that can help you focus on your plan of action and ultimately goals, so that you can achieve them. These are:
Make your job a fun. As is said, ‘if you love your job, then you never have to work another day in your life.” Apply this concept in your life and find fun ways to achieve your goals.

Hire a coach:
Taking professional services can help you keep yourself on track. If your pocket doesn’t let you support a professional coach, then you can take help of your friend or family. Someone who is creative and can keep you motivated, will help you keep on track.

Set achievable goals:
Set goals, which are realistic in nature. By doing this you can escape the pain of failure. Start by setting small goals and reward yourself on their accomplishments.
